Premier League trio Newcastle United, West Ham United, Wolverhampton Wanderers are reportedly in the race to sign Marseille’s Morgan Sanson.

Newcastle United, West Ham United, and Wolves are seemingly in a chase for Marseille’s £31m-rated midfielder Morgan Sanson, according to Sky Sports.
With the French club having some financial problems, it seems as though some of their star players could be heading for the exit door and Sanson is potentially one of them. If he does leave then he shouldn’t hesitate in picking Newcastle over those other reported teams.
The 24-year-old is very comfortable on the ball and can be an attacking threat, whilst also producing the goods from a defensive aspect.
Newcastle are in need of a player that can dribble with the ball from deep, push his teammates further up the field, but with it doing their defensive jobs. Sanson can provide that for the club.
If Newcastle can snap up the services of a player like Sanson, especially ahead of their Premier League rivals, Wolves and West Ham then it’ll be even more impressive.
Furthermore, it would increase Rafa Benitez’s chances of staying on at the club as his current contract at St James’ Park is due to expire at the end of this month.

The Spaniard would surely love a player of Sanson’s qualities for his team because he would do the defensive work for him in the middle of the park and provide that extra spice which fans will love.
Even though Newcastle can’t provide European football to a player of Sanson’s qualities, signing a player like that would take them to that path.
And it needs to be remembered that he will still be playing on a very big stage at St James’ Park regardless of what situation they are in.
