Wednesday got the better of Villa 2-1 away from home at Villa Park in the Championship on Saturday afternoon.
Adam Reach and Jordan Rhodes were the goalscorers for the Owls against Steve Bruce’s side.
Fox started the match and played for the entire 90 minutes, and the 24-year-old defender has taken to Twitter to revel in the win for the Owls against the Villans.
The win against Villa means that Wednesday are now 11th in the Championship table with 23 points from 16 matches.
Carlos Carvalhal’s side are just three points behind sixth-placed Villa and are very much in the running for the playoffs.
The Owls have finished in the top six of the Championship in each of the past two seasons and will be determined to do the same this time around.
