Leeds should take encouragement from Alfredo Morelos’ performances for Rangers.

Leeds United have been linked with a deal for HJK Helsinki defender Aapo Halme, according to Finnish newspaper Helsingin Sanomat.
Halme is a bright talent, already a first team player at 19, but Leeds would be right to have reservations over whether he could make the transition to English football.
The nearest comparison Leeds could take, is the quick adaptation of Halme’s HJK teammate Alfredo Morelos in Scotland.

Morelos was HJK’s top scorer before his move, and has gone onto score at a prolific rate for Rangers.
Given that Morelos has quickly been able to thrive away from HJK, Leeds should take encouragement that Halme could also make the step up.
The centre-back is a Finland under-21 international and is a bright talent. He would be a gamble, but one Leeds could afford to take.
If Rangers were bold enough to sign his teammate, Leeds should certainly consider taking the plunge on Halme.
