Some Liverpool fans on Twitter have been impressed by Harvey Elliott’s heroics for Blackburn Rovers at the weekend.
Elliott is on loan at Blackburn from defending Premier League champions Liverpool and has been playing well for the Championship club this season.
The 17-year-old winger was in action for Rovers against Norwich City at Carrow Road this past Saturday.
The youngster came on as a substitute in the 64th minute and provided the assist for the equaliser with a wonderful free kick, as shown below.
According to WhoScored, Elliott has scored five goals and provided 10 assists in 33 Championship games for Rovers so far this season.
The young winger is progressing well at Rovers, and playing in a very competitive domestic league will only make him better.
Elliott is only 17 years of age and is far from the finished article, but his experience in the Championship this season could help him break into manager Jurgen Klopp’s team in 2021-22.
