Chris Sutton has taken to Twitter to aim a dig at Liverpool, after Cardiff could’ve had a penalty in the 19th minute of today’s FA Cup tie.
What’s the story?
Well, Sutton feels Liverpool got lucky against the Bluebirds earlier today, when Ibrahima Konate bundled into Mark Harris.
The Frenchman got on the wrong side of the 23-year-old, who ensured his body was protecting the ball before he was knocked to the ground.
Andrew Madley decided no offence had taken place, as did VAR after a quick check of the incident.
However, Sutton would’ve awarded a penalty if he were in charge.

In our view, it was a tight one – we’ve seen them given in the Premier League.
However, to describe Liverpool as LiVARpool is just childish from Sutton. By the sounds of his reaction, you would’ve thought it was a stonewall penalty.
Liverpool showed their strength against Cardiff
For many months now, some Liverpool fans have complained about a lack of squad depth at Anfield.
Where Manchester City have the likes of Riyad Mahrez, Jack Grealish, Bernardo Silva, Raheem Sterling, Phil Foden and Gabriel Jesus to choose from in attack, Jürgen Klopp has been left to rely on the likes of Takumi Minamino and Divock Origi at times.
With all due respect, they are not on the level of the aforementioned names, nor are they good enough to deputise for players like Sadio Mane and Mohamed Salah.
However, in the 57th minute, Klopp showed his squad’s new-look strength as Luis Diaz and Harvey Elliott came on together.
The Reds could do with another right-back to provide cover for Trent Alexander-Arnold, although as far as their attack is concerned, things are looking pretty good.
