Tottenham Hotspur have a ‘top, top quality’ star who ‘asks questions’ in Harry Kane after a brace at Crystal Palace. Eagles hero Glenn Murray was in awe after Wednesday’s 4-0 clash.
Kane struck Spurs’ first and second goals to beat their London rivals away at Selhurst Park. The England captain fired home after 48’ and 53 minutes to see Antonio Conte’s side start the second half strongly. Matt Doherty (68’) and Son Heung-Min (72’) added to their lead.

Tottenham are now back within two points of Manchester United in fourth place but they have played a game more. Spurs also travelled from north to south London on the back of a 2-0 loss at home to Aston Villa. They had only won two of their last seven league games.

Ivan Perisic crossed into Kane to break the deadlock with a towering header at close range soon after the break. It meant Tottenham held a 1-0 lead for the first time in 11 top-flight matches dating back to October 15, as well. He then drilled Bryan Gil’s pass home for 2-0.
Wednesday further marked Kane’s 300th Premier League appearance and he celebrated the occasion by reaching 208 goals. The 29-year-old has offered 15 of his haul from 18 games so far this season, plus one assist. But he was involved in Doherty and Son’s goals, as well.

Kane captivated Murray as Tottenham thrashed Crystal Palace 4-0
Crystal Palace did not lay a glove on Kane as he cut a pass across to Son, whose deflected pass fell kindly for Doherty to bag Tottenham’s third. The 80-cap Three Lions skipper and Son then combined for their fourth, via another deflection, as Kane threaded his long ball.
Kane’s efforts as Tottenham thrashed Crystal Palace captivated former Eagles star Murray. The striker-turned-pundit lauded the prolific nature of the forward’s game after scoring in an 11th Premier League outing this season. He stated of the attacker on BBC Radio 5 Live:
“Top, top quality striker. Doesn’t matter what everyone is doing around him when he gets a sight of goal he hits the target. He asks questions of the goalkeeper and more often than not, it ends with the goalkeeper bending down and picking it out of the back his own net.”
