Tottenham Hotspur and Chelsea are massive London rivals, and Spurs and the Blues will lock horns with each other in the Premier League on Monday evening.
Ange Postecoglou’s Tottenham Hotspur will take on Mauricio Pochettino’s Chelsea at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium tonight.
Tottenham are second in the Premier League table at the moment with 26 points from 10 matches.
Spurs are a point behind leaders and defending champions Manchester City, who have played 11 games.
Tonight’s match will also see former Spurs head coach Mauricio Pochettino return to Tottenham Hotspur Stadium for the first time since his sacking almost four years ago.
The Argentine boss took charge of Chelsea in the summer of 2023.
Pochettino was a huge success during his time at Spurs.
Under the former Paris Saint-Germain manager, Tottenham went close to winning the Premier League title and reached the final of the UEFA Champions League.
Chelsea manager Mauricio Pochettino on Tottenham Hotspur forward Son Heung-min
Pochettino managed Son Heung-min when he was in charge of Spurs, and he has now spoken highly of the South Korea international forward.
The £22 million (The Guardian) forward flourished under Pochettino, who is pleased to see Son improving even further after being handed the captain’s armband by current head coach Ange Postecoglou.

The London Evening Standard quotes Pochettino as saying about Son: “He’s a great professional, a great player, I’m so happy he’s the captain.
“People grow, people become more mature, and they are top of the table so he must be doing something good as captain.
“When people you like and love are happy and doing well, that increases your personal happiness.
“We are this type of people that love and enjoy when people we know and you are part of his life are doing well.”
My View: Son Heung-min a star player for Tottenham Hotspur
In my opinion, Son Heung-min is world class and is one of the best players for Tottenham Hotspur.
Son is a goal machine.
The 31-year-old has consistently maintained his high standards, and his performances this season have been so good that Spurs do not appear to miss Harry Kane at all.
The Tottenham no. 7 has scored eight goals and given one assist in 10 Premier League appearances so far this season.
Son has scored 111 goals and given 53 assists in 278 appearances in the Premier League so far in his career.
