Tottenham Hotspur attacker Christian Eriksen is out this weekend.

Tottenham Hotspur midfielder Christian Eriksen has been ruled out of action for this weekend’s match with Huddersfield.
The Evening Standard report Eriksen has an abdominal injury and Spurs are keeping him out in the hope he can recover to face Barcelona this week.
Normally losing Eriksen would be a huge blow. He is the player who makes Tottenham tick, and is arguable even more important to their overall play than star striker Harry Kane.
For this match, for one week, Eriksen’s absence could benefit Tottenham.
The Dane has not been in good form for Spurs this season, despite doing his usual heroics for his country in the usual international break.

Eriksen is yet to score in the league this season for Tottenham. He has two assists, one from a corner for Harry Kane a month ago at Old Trafford, and one in the final minute of a defeat against Liverpool.
In open play he has not been as dominant for Spurs as he usually has.
A break will do him good, and Tottenham must learn how to play without him.
His absence will present Tottenham players with a chance to step up and give Mauricio Pochettino a selection headache.
