Everton are set to take on the likes of Liverpool, Newcastle United and Swansea City in their next five matches.

Sam Allardyce looks on from the stand during the Premier League match between Everton and West Ham United at Goodison Park on November 29, 2017 in Liverpool, England.

Everton went into the international break on the back of a 2-1 win over Stoke City, but they have some tough games coming up.

In this article we predict how many points Everton will gain in their next five matches.

Manchester City (home) – Defeat

City have swept aside almost all before them this season, and they are on course to win the Premier League title comfortably.

Everton did actually manage to pick up a point against City earlier this season, but it seems unlikely that Sam Allardyce’s side will be able to upset the odds again.

Liverpool (home) – Draw

Everton’s record at Goodison Park has been strong this season, but playing against Liverpool will test them massively.

The Toffees may avoid defeat, but it would be a shock to see them topple Jurgen Klopp’s side.

Swansea City (away) – Defeat

Everton have won just two away games all season, so it would be a surprise to see them win back to back matches on their travels.

Swansea are still in a relegation battle and need the points, so that could make Everton’s task of getting the three points difficult.

Newcastle United (home) – Win

Everton should have too much for Newcastle to cope with, especially in front of their own fans.

Huddersfield Town (away) – Win

Huddersfield may be a relegation scrap, but Everton can expect to get three points against David Wagner’s side.

Total: Seven points

If Everton can collect seven points from their next five matches it will be a credible return, but still unlikely to convince many at Goodison Park that Allarydce is the right man for the job over the long-term.
