The Baggies were thrashed 4-0 by the Whites in Friday’s Championship game at Elland Road.

West Bromwich Albion manager Darren Moore has bemoaned his side’s 4-0 defeat against Leeds United, saying their early goal gave the hosts a psychological advantage which they built on.
The Baggies kicked off proceedings at Elland Road on Friday night but gave away possession and within less than 20 seconds they were a goal down, Pablo Hernandez with a long-range effort.
From then on the Whites never relinquished their lead and added a second before the break, Patrick Bamford slotting past Sam Johnstone after latching onto a through-ball from former Albion forward Tyler Roberts.
Hal-Robson Kanu headed over as the Baggies started the second half strongly but a second from Leeds forward Bamford and Ezgjan Alioski’s late tap-in added gloss to the scoreline and sent the visitors home nursing their wounds.
Albion have now lost back-to-back games against direct promotion rivals and the gap to the automatic promotion places could extend to seven points by Monday night, with only 11 games to go this term.

“From the minute we conceded the goal it gave them the upper hand to hold onto,” Moore is quoted by the Birmingham Mail as saying. “It was up to us to stay in the game.
“Psychologically they had something to hold onto, and that’s what happened, I felt that’s how the game went. It’s a tough one to take, when you lose that margin. It’s about analysing the game and see where and why it went on.”
Up next for West Brom is next Saturday’s Championship game against Ipswich Town at the Hawthorns.
