Premier League duo Liverpool and Spurs reportedly want to sign Red Bull Salzburg’s Champions League sensation Erling Braut Haaland.

The records just continue to tumble for Erling Braut Haaland.

With that stunning hat-trick against Genk in Salzburg’s 6-2 Champions League matchday one victory, the 19-year-old Norwegian became the first teenager to score a treble on his competition debut since Wayne Rooney all the way back in 2004.

But he’s far from a one hit wonder. Napoli, Carlo Ancelotti’s Serie A giants, were on the receiving end this week with Haaland taking his tally to 20 goals in just 13 games this season with the most authoritative penalty you can imagine, followed by a bullet header in the second half.

He’s now become the first ever player to score six goals in his first three Champions League games – not bad for a player who doesn’t turn 20 until July next year.

According to the Daily Star, Tottenham Hotspur and Liverpool are both right at the front of the queue with clubs from all over keeping close tabs on arguably the hottest young striker in the world right now.

And, with Napoli’s beleaguered backline still icing the bruises following a clash with this teenage tornado, it’s fair to say Haaland would be welcomed with open arms in Merseyside or North London.

The word ‘wonderkid’ is often overused but, in Haaland’s case, it is 100 per cent accurate.
