Pep Guardiola’s side won the match 2-1 to progress 4-2 on aggregate to the quarter-finals of Europe’s premier club competition.

De Bruyne started the game and played for the entire 90 minutes, and his performance against the Spanish and European giants impressed Everton forward Richarlison.
