West Bromwich Albion are reportedly interested in signing Leeds United’s Charlie Taylor in the January transfer window.
Leeds United head coach Garry Monk has told The Yorkshire Evening Post that there have been no enquires about Charlie Taylor.
The 23-year-old left-back, who can also operate as a winger, has been linked with a move away from Leeds in the January transfer window.
The Sun reported last month that Premier League club West Bromwich Albion are interested in signing the former England Under-19 international this month.
Taylor has been on the books of Leeds his entire professional career so far, but his contract with the Championship outfit runs out in June 2017, according to Transfermarkt.co.uk.
“Nothing at all,” Monk told The Yorkshire Evening Post when asked if there have been any enquiries for Taylor. “Our squad is what it is and we can’t afford to lose anything. We only need to add.”
Leeds are going strong in the Championship at the moment and have a genuine chance of ending the season in the playoffs. The Whites are currently fifth in the table with 45 points from 25 matches.
The West Yorkshire outfit will take on Cambridge United away from home at the Cambs Glass Stadium in the third round of the FA Cup on Monday evening.
Taylor has featured in 21 Championship matches for Leeds so far this season, creating 12 chances in the process.
