Leeds United head coach Garry Monk has taken to social networking site Twitter to highlight the importance of winning home matches this season.
The West Yorkshire outfit will take on Birmingham City at Elland Road in the Championship on Saturday afternoon.
The match against Birmingham will be Leeds’s first competitive game at home this season.

Leeds will head into the encounter on the back of a penalty shootout victory over Fleetwood Town away from home in the first round of the EFL Cup.
Monk, who was appointed the Leeds head coach in the summer following the departure of Steve Evans at the end of last season, has taken to Twitter to underline the importance of winning matches at Elland Road this season, with the Championship club’s fans responding to his message on the social networking site.

Leeds kicked off their 2016-17 Championship campaign with a 3-0 defeat to Queens Park Rangers away from home at Loftus Road in London last weekend.
The Whites, who have not featured in the Premier League since 2004, will be aiming to finish in the top six of the Championship this season.
