The Leeds United midfielder has been out injured for a while now.
Leeds United manager Garry Monk has been speaking to reporters ahead of the weekend clash against Norwich City, with his comments published on the club’s official Twitter account.
Among the topics being discussed was the situation regarding midfielder Liam Bridcutt, who has been out injured for the last eight league matches and the last 10 in all competitions.
Unfortunately for Leeds, the Scotland international is not yet ready to return. However, Monk has given a clearer timeline for when fans can expect to see him in action once more.

“We hope to get Liam back into training just after the Newcastle game and we look forward to him returning,” the Leeds boss said.
Leeds take on the Magpies on 20 November – directly after the next international break – and Bridcutt will be hoping that if things go to plan he could be back in first-team action by the start of December.

He may just miss out on the EFL Cup clash with Liverpool, depending on how quickly he gets back to his best after a long time out. But Monk will not want to rush back a player who has a vital role to play in their ongoing promotion push.
