Danijel Subasic enjoyed winning at Wembley.
Tottenham Hotspur may be coming to grips with the Premier League title race now, but the London side rarely got into the spirit of the Champions League this season.
Spurs struggled throughout their Champions League campaign, especially in their home games at Wembley, where they were beaten by both Bayer Leverkusen and AS Monaco.
The Ligue 1 side won 2-1 at Wembley in September in front of a record Spurs crowd at the home of English football.

It was a result which helped the high-flying side make it into the next round of the competition.
The win against Wembley was especially remarkable for the Monaco players, because they got to do it at such an iconic stadium.
Croatian goalkeeper Danijel Subasic was very happy with that result, as he shared in an interview with beIN Sports this week:
“Those matches are like bonuses. They’re a chance to qualify for the Champions League quarter-finals. We have to give everything, just like against Arsenal two years ago. We gave our all and went through. Winning in England is incredible. This year we beat Tottenham at Wembley. Not many teams get a win at Wembley.”

It just goes to show the extra task Tottenham actually had when facing teams at Wembley.
The performance levels immediately go up from opponents when they realise they have a chance of winning a game at a stadium like Wembley.
Tottenham will need to get used to that feeling if they are to progress in the Europa League.
