Tottenham target is available at the right price.
Monaco’ sporting director Luis Campos has admitted that Yannick Ferreira-Carrasco has an uncertain future at the club, report Tuttomercatoweb.
Ferreira-Carrasco is interesting Atletico Madrid, as report the website. Talksport reported how Tottenham Hotspur had a bid of £11 million turned down for the winger this summer, with Monaco holding out for £18 million.
Asked about the winger’s future, Monaco’s Campos was pragmatic, and effectively confirmed that there is a deal to be done at the right price this transfer window.
He told Tuttomercatoweb “For now he is our player and will do the pre-season with us, but… we’ll see, you never know.”
French website Maxifoot reported last week how Monaco already have a potential replacement lined up in Sporting Lisbon’s Carlos Mane.
If Monaco were committed to keeping Ferreira-Carrasco, Campos’ stance would surely have been different, and when pressed he would have come out and said he is not for sale, but instead his comments demonstrate the Ligue 1 side would be prepared to cash in.
The 21-year-old winger is an excellent prospect, scoring eight times and providing 11 assists for Monaco in 2014/15.
