Tottenham Hotspur will face AS Monaco and Chelsea in their next two matches.

Former Arsenal midfielder Ray Parlour said on The Alan Brazil Sports Breakfast show on talkSPORT on Monday morning (broadcast from 6am, November 21, 2016) that the match against AS Monaco is more important for Tottenham Hotspur than the game against Chelsea.
Tottenham will face Monaco away from home at Stade Louis II in Champions League Group E on Tuesday evening.
Mauricio Pochettino’s side will then face London rivals Chelsea away from home at Stamford Bridge in the Premier League on Saturday evening.
Former Arsenal midfielder Parlour has explained why the game against Monaco is more important than the match against Chelsea.
“I think Monaco’s going to be more important because Champions League football, you want to be in the last 16,” said Parlour on The Alan Brazil Sports Breakfast show on talkSPORT on Monday morning (broadcast from 6am, November 21, 2016).

Tottenham are third in Champions League Group E at the moment with four points from as many matches.
The North London outfit are just two points behind second-placed Bayer Leverkusen and four behind Monaco.
A loss against Monaco this evening will see Spurs get knocked out of Europe’s premier club competition if Bayer win against CSKA Moscow.
This evening’s match is certainly more important for Tottenham, as even a defeat to Chelsea on Saturday evening is going to keep them in the Premier League title race.
