Christopher Jullien has issued a rallying call to his Celtic team-mates.

Neil Lennon’s side kick off their Europa League campaign with a tricky trip to Rennes in France this evening.

The Ligue 1 side are second in France’s top flight and have already beaten Paris Saint-Germain this season, making it a potentially-ominous test for Celtic.

But Jullien, a £7 million signing by Lennon this past summer [The Scottish Sun], has issued a passionate pre-game message for his team-mates ahead of the clash.

With Jozo Simunovic out through injury, Jullien, who endured a slow start to life at Celtic, is expected to start at centre-back.

Victory would set Lennon’s side up very nicely over reaching the last 32 of the competition. Yes, this is only the first group game, but a strong start is imperative nevertheless.
