Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta has told Football.London after the match against Graham Potter’s Chelsea at Stamford Bridge that Gunners midfielder Granit Xhaka will face “moments of adversity”.
Arteta has said that Xhaka is a fighter who gives his all on the pitch, and said that the Arsenal and Switzerland international midfielder needs to learn how to enjoy the good moments more.
Arsenal got the better of Chelsea 1-0 in the London derby on Sunday.
Brazilian defender Gabriel scored the only goal of the match in the second half.
As you would expect from Xhaka, the £30 million (Sky Sports) Switzerland international midfielder got stuck in against Chelsea in the Premier League.
Mikel Arteta on Granit Xhaka for Arsenal v Chelsea
Arteta said about Xhaka: “He’s a fighter and he’s someone who is going to face moments of adversity. Now he needs to learn to enjoy more the good moments and I think he enjoys that.”

Granit Xhaka is one of the best players at Arsenal and is one of the best names on the teamsheet.
The Swiss star plays with his heart of his sleeve and is a very passionate footballer indeed.
However, we have to say that Xhaka has matured this season and is doing well in a more advanced role in midfield.
Arsenal are at the top of the Premier League table at the moment, and Xhaka’s contribution cannot be undermined at all.
