Liverpool target Moises Caicedo has said that his dream is to play for Real Madrid.
In an interview with Cadena SER, as transcribed by MundoDeportivo, the Brighton and Hove Albion midfielder has said that he would love to play for Madrid, who won La Liga and the UEFA Champions League last season.
The 21-year-old Ecuador international midfielder has said that he has always dreamt of playing for Spanish and European powerhouse Madrid.
Sky Sports reported this month that Liverpool are keen on bringing Caicedo to Anfield at the end of the season.
The Premier League club have reportedly identified the youngster as a potential alternative to Borussia Dortmund and England International midfielder Jude Bellingham.
MundoDeportivo have added that Caicedo is not a player who is on Madrid’s list of targets for the summer transfer window.
Liverpool target Moises Caicedo dreams of Real Madrid move
Caicedo said: “It was always my dream to play for Real Madrid.
“Now I’m doing things very well and why not one day play there and win a Champions League with Real Madrid.”

HITC Verdict: Liverpool should not be worried
In our view, Liverpool should not be too worried about Moises Caicedo’s comments that he dreams of playing for Real Madrid.
Madrid are not going to sign the midfielder in the summer transfer window.
While the Ecuadorian has done well for Brighton this season, Madrid will not make a move for him until they are sure that he can deliver week in and week out at the elite level, that is, in the UEFA Champions League.
We do not think that Liverpool will face any competition from Madrid for Caicedo in the summer transfer window.
