West Ham United transfer target Mohammed Kudus has sent a message of praise to Edson Alvarez after his Premier League debut.
Edson Alvarez has been praised by former Ajax teammate Mohammed Kudus amid rumours they could reunite at West Ham United.
The Hammers were in action on Sunday afternoon, hosting Chelsea at the London Stadium.
James Ward-Prowse made an immediate impact, bagging two assists in a 3-1 victory for David Moyes’ side.
The former Southampton midfielder made a great start to life as a West Ham player and he wasn’t the only debutant.
Fellow midfielder Edson Alvarez made his West Ham bow, coming off the bench to help the Hammers see out a win.
The 25-year-old recently joined West Ham from Ajax, securing a £35.4million switch to East London.
The hope is that Alvarez can replace the defensive output from Declan Rice but it seems that he will be brought along gradually at West Ham.

Edson Alvarez receives message from West Ham United target Mohammed Kudus
Alvarez may not be the only player moving from Ajax to West Ham this summer.
The Hammers have also been chasing the signature of Alvarez’s former Ajax teammate Mohammed Kudus.
The Ghanaian has attracted major interest this summer but has yet to secure a move away from Amsterdam.
West Ham have agreed personal terms with Kudus according to The Guardian, but the deal is in ‘major doubt’.

Ajax want £44million for Kudus but West Ham don’t want to pay over £41million, meaning the deal could collapse over just £3million.
Hammers fans will be frustrated if that is the case, having got very excited with his Instagram activity on Sunday night.
Alvarez took to Instagram to celebrate three points and a Premier League debut with Kudus responding by calling him a ‘machine’.
West Ham fans bombarded that message by urging Kudus to join Alvarez in East London, but a reunion is now hanging in the balance.
