The Egypt international has been in sensational form for Liverpool this season.
Reds sensation Mohamed Salah sat down for an exclusive interview with popular football magazine Four Four Two, and admitted that it was his dream to one day play for Liverpool.
The Egyptian has been quite sensational for Jürgen Klopp’s side this season, since making his £34 million switch from Roma in the summer, and has scored an impressive 27 goals in 32 outings thus far.
Salah is now considered to be one of the most feared front-men in European football – a rather dramatic rise to prominence for someone deemed not good enough for Chelsea by Jose Mourinho just three years ago.
The 25-year-old sat down for an exclusive interview with popular football magazine Four Four Two, and opened up on how he is living out his boyhood dream by playing for the Reds:
“Ever since I was a kid, I had been a Liverpool fan – they were my favourite Premier League club. I’ve loved the club since I was young and knew this was a team I wanted to play for. I knew the history that this club has and, as soon as I got the chance, I had to make it happen.”
Salah is just one goal behind Tottenham’s Harry Kane in the race for this season’s Golden Boot, and if he manages to go on and finish as the Premier League’s top goalscorer, it would be quite some achievement, considering that he doesn’t even operate as an out-and-out striker.
