Garth Crooks has raved about Liverpool forward Mohamed Salah on BBC Sport and has outlined his attributes.

The former Tottenham Hotspur forward made the comments about Salah while including him in his BBC Premier League Team of the Week.

Crooks left Liverpool forward Diogo Jota out of the team despite his brace against Southampton at the weekend.

The BBC Sport pundit is a big fan of Salah now.

Garth Crooks verdict on Mohamed Salah

Crooks wrote on BBC Sport: “The Egypt international is a joy to watch at the moment.

“There isn’t a better striker in the word than Salah when he is playing for the team and not merely chasing goals. Against the Saints he was superb.

“What amazes me about Salah is his strength. He is lightning quick and extremely strong on the ball.”

World-class footballer

Salah is one of the best footballers in the world.

In our opinion, the Egypt international is world class.

And he is at the top of his game.

Salah is 29 now, but he is going strong as ever and is still banging in the goals for fun.

The Liverpool no. 11 has scored 108 goals in 171 appearances in the Premier League so far in his career.

Salah has scored 11 goals in 13 Premier League appearances in the Premier League so far this season.

The former Chelsea man has also given eight assists in those games.

Salah has found the back of the net six times in five Champions League games this season.
