Tottenham fans have taken to Twitter to react after a 31-second clip of Oliver Skipp emerged following a 5-0 win for the England Under-21 side last night.
Skipp – who is currently on a season-long loan at Norwich – started the resounding win against Albania’s Under-21 side and played well.
The 20-year-old grabbed a fine assist for Jamal Musiala’s goal, playing an inch-perfect return pass to the Bayern Munich man who then slotted home.
Incidentally, footage of Skipp’s delicate assist is what has led to some Tottenham fans flocking to Twitter to comment on the academy graduate.
One even described the set-up as ‘Modric-esque’ – high praise indeed.

According to SofaScore, Skipp’s assist wasn’t his only bit of good work on the night.
The on-loan Canaries man completed 93% of his passes and lost the ball just four times, proving to be extremely efficient in possession.
He completed 40 of his attempted 43 passes, including one long-range attempt.

Skipp also completed three tackles, and his tidiness on the ball helped provide security for the likes of Callum Hudson-Odoi and Eddie Nketiah to flourish in attack.
The Welwyn Garden City-born midfielder is certainly benefitting from his time at Carrow Road, where he has made 11 Championship appearances so far this season.
Let’s see what the Tottenham fans on Twitter have been saying about his assist…
