But Wednesday also moved a player on in the form of Modou Sougou.

The Senegal winger headed to Portugal, joining Moreirense in the top-flight on a loan deal until the end of the season.
He took to Twitter yesterday to show his pride at making the move away from Hillsborough:
The 32-year-old will be familiar with his surroundings in Portugal. The winger spent much of his early career in Portugal with the likes of Uniao Leiria, Vitoria Setubal and Academica.
It seems as though his career at Wednesday is now coming to an end and it has not gone to plan for the former Marseille attacker.
The Senegal international arrived in Yorkshire in 2015, signed by Carlos Carvalhal.

But he has struggled to establish himself on the English game. He scored on his debut for the club but has suffered with form and fitness since.
His last appearance for Sheffield Wednesday came in the EFL Cup back in August, as Wednesday were defeated by Cambridge United in the competition.
