The Leeds United loanee is not exactly prolific in front of goal.

When Leeds United signed Mo Barrow on loan from Swansea City it looked to be another canny piece of business from Whites manager Garry Monk.

After all, the former Swansea City boss knew the winger from their time together at the Liberty Stadium, and yet so far the 24-year-old has failed to make any significant impact at Elland Road.

With just four substitute appearances under his belt, Barrow has not had sufficient game time to make his mark on the games he has been involved in and he has not featured for a single minute in four of Leeds’ last five Championship games.

With Monk signing the player only to overlook him, a quick glance at his previous statistics does not bode well for those Leeds fans hoping for a change in fortune.

Since moving to England, Barrow has scored just two goals; one in the 2014/15 campaign and one a year later.

At this rate Barrow is due just the single goal during his time at Elland Road, and the only way he is going to justify his arrival now is if that goal comes in the play-off final.

Stranger things have happened in the game, and it would certainly be the perfect end to the story.

Only time will tell if that is how it plays out, and if Monk is hailed as a genius for signing a player who does not score often, but could score the most important goal of Leeds’ entire campaign.
