The Brazilian playmaker headlines our Week 5 line-up after returning from injury to inspire Orlando to a statement-making win over reigning MLS Cup champions Portland Timbers.

The 28-year-old stopper produced a five-save performance in Friday’s home clash with the New York Red Bulls to earn a clean sheet and secure the Revs a hard-fought 1-0 win.
RB – Robbie Rogers (LA Galaxy)
The Galaxy full-back recorded five tackles, four interceptions and five key passes as Bruce Arena’s depleted side earned a 0-0 draw at the Vancouver Whitecaps.
CB – Johan Kappelhof (Chicago Fire)
The Dutch defender made five clearances, three interceptions and blocked two shots to help the Fire pick up their first win of the season with a 1-0 shutout against the Philadelphia Union.
CB – Justen Glad (Real Salt Lake)
The highly-rated 19-year-old started Saturday’s match at Sporting Kansas City with Jamison Olave suspended and showed his promise, opening the scoring with a set-piece header and putting in a strong defensive shift to help RSL earn a 2-1 win.
LB – Brek Shea (Orlando City SC)
The former Stoke City man scored a first-half stunner in Sunday night’s clash with the Portland Timbers as Adrian Heath’s men thumped the MLS Cup holders 4-1 at the Citrus Bowl.
CM – Osvaldo Alonso (Seattle Sounders)
The tenacious midfielder proved central to Seattle’s 1-0 home win over the Montreal Impact, completing 66 of his 71 passes and making a match-leading nine tackles.
CM – Luke Mulholland (Real Salt Lake)
The Englishman’s first start of the season at Sporting KC saw him netting a stunning long-range blast 11 minutes from time that proved to be the winning goal.
RW – Kevin Molino (Orlando City SC)
The tricky Trinidadian winger earned and converted a second-half penalty in the win over Portland, while also recording five shots, five dribbles and even seven tackles.
AM – Kaka (Orlando City SC)
The Brazilian superstar was making his first appearance of the season against Portland after recovering from a thigh strain but showed no signs of rust, setting up two first-half goals and scoring another four minutes after the break to send Orlando to the top of the Eastern Conference with eight points from their first four games.
LW – Joao Plata (Real Salt Lake)
As well as setting up Glad’s opener in the win over SKC, the diminutive Ecuadorian created eight chances and recorded 10 ball recoveries.
ST – Luis Solignac (Colorado Rapids)
With Kevin Doyle out injured, the 25-year-old Argentine stepped up to score the only goal of the game in side’s home clash with Toronto FC – his first in MLS after 18 appearances.
