Newcastle United and West Ham United reportedly want Jefferson Savarino.

According to Sky Sports, Newcastle United and West Ham United are keen on signing Real Salt Lake winger Jefferson Savarino this summer.
The Magpies raided Major League Soccer in January to sign playmaker Miguel Almiron, and they may just go back in again for Savarino.
Meanwhile, West Ham are looking for a cheap winger to bring in for competition for places, and Savarino has allegedly popped up on their radar too.
Savarino, 22, joined Real Salt Lake from Zulia in 2017, and after hitting seven goals and nine assists last season, he’s currently on three goals and two assists this term.
The Venezuelan winger is currently at Copa America with his country, and both Newcastle and West Ham are allegedly tracking his progress in the competition.
It seems unlikely that Newcastle would secure a deal with Rafael Benitez’s future unclear, so West Ham may well be favourites to sign Savarino for just £6million.

Savarino isn’t as big of a name as Almiron was before his Newcastle move, so we’ve compiled some fan reactions from MLS clubs as they saw the rumours about his future.
Some believe that there are better wingers in America than Savarino as he blows hot and cold, with some Real Salt Lake fans even admitting they’d take the money and run.
Others do think Savarino is a promising player, but even some America-based West Ham fans weren’t impressed with the idea of signing the winger, with few talking him up like Almiron was in January.
