There has been some confusion surrounding Luis Campos and Arsenal today.
Football.London reported earlier today that ‘Arsenal want to work with Campos on an informal basis’.
The idea was that Campos would offer something of a consultancy role to Arsenal, and it wouldn’t involve Edu losing his job.
However, the report has now been updated, stating that Arsenal have distanced themselves from the rumour and denied that Campos will be working closely with Edu.
Arsenal are seeking to expand their recruitment process, and it’s thought that Campos will make a decision on his future soon – just in case Arsenal do want him.
Campos is known as something of a transfer expert, having credited with deals for Radamel Falcao, James Rodriguez, Fabinho, Anthony Martial, Bernardo Silva, Thomas Lemar, Tiemoue Bakayoko, Nicolas Pepe, Kylian Mbappe, Benjamin Mendy, Boubakary Soumare, Victor Osimhen and so many more.

Having that kind of input at Arsenal could be huge, especially with Mikel Arteta’s squad needing some work this summer.
There are mixed messages emerging over Campos, but no matter what happens with him, it looks like Edu is safe at Arsenal.
