Fulham’s new manager won the Premier League title against all odds at Leicester City.

One of the most iconic managers of recent times has returned to the Premier League.
Claudio Ranieri, who led Leicester City to the title against odds of 5000/1 in 2015/16, has taken the reins at Fulham.
The Italian joins the Cottagers following a year-long stint at French club Nantes and replaces the sacked Slavisa Jokanovic at the West London outfit.
Widely appreciated for his affable, charming demeanour, Ranieri’s appointment at Leicester in 2015 was initially met with scepticism by some fans and neutrals.
However, the 67-year-old went on to deliver nothing short of a fairy tale as the Foxes, who had barely survived relegation the previous season, unexpectedly swash-buckled their way to England’s top prize.
Indeed, Ranieri’s difficult second season and eventual sacking in February 2017 broke the hearts of many in the football world, but despite the subsequent issues, he remains truly cherished at the King Power Stadium.
News of Ranieri returning to England, albeit in charge of another club, has led to some Leicester fans feeling mixed emotions, especially given he will be in the opposing dugout when the two sides meet in the league:
Other Leicester fans were quick to congratulate Fulham and wish them good luck under Ranieri’s tenure:
Leicester travel to Fulham on 5 December before hosting the Cottagers on 9 March next year.
