Paris Saint-Germain defender Mitchel Bakker has told NOS Sport that he hasn’t heard anything about a move to Celtic.
Sky Sports reported on Saturday that Celtic have made a loan bid for Bakker, but PSG have rebuffed them.
The Bhoys remain keen on signing Bakker, who is fighting Juan Bernat and Layvin Kurzawa for first-team football at PSG.
Bakker, 20, joined PSG from Ajax in 2019, and made five first-team appearances for the French giants last season.
The Dutchman looks to be a real talent for the future, and Celtic have strong ties to PSG having signed Odsonne Edouard and Timothy Weah from them in the past.
Celtic may well return with a new offer for Bakker, but the man himself doesn’t appear too fussed by the rumours.

Bakker claims he doesn’t even know about Celtic’s interest, and intends to stay with PSG and play even more next season.
“I haven’t heard about Celtic, but I want to stay with PSG and hope for even more playing time,” said Bakker.
