Tottenham Hotspur midfielder Yves Bissouma has wished Djed Spence ‘all the best’ on his Instagram story after he secured a season-long loan deal to Leeds United.
This time last summer, the 23-year-old was joining Tottenham after helping Nottingham Forest earn promotion to the Premier League.
But then-manager Antonio Conte hardly used him, in fact, he never started Djed Spence and now he is looking to pick his career up again at Leeds United.
This is a top, top signing for Daniel Farke, who after a disruptive summer, has probably landed one of the best signings in the Championship this summer.
It needs to be noted that, whilst the last 12 months haven’t gone well for the all-action right-back, whose preference is to play wing-back.
The last time he was in the Championship, he smashed it, with Yves Bissouma, who moved to Spurs for £25 million last summer (Sky Sports) alongside Spence, posted the following message via his Instagram story about the England U21 star

“Miss you already, fam,” said Bissouma. “Wish you all the best there.”

Spence will thrive at Leeds
As soon as Spence finds his fitness, he should be starting pretty much straight away for Leeds.
Luke Ayling has served the club pretty well over the years, but it has been clear for a while that he needs to be replaced or pushed down as a squad player.
So, whilst things have been chaotic during the early few months of Farke’s reign, he will be hoping that it starts to settle down once the window slams shut.
