Mino Raiola may have masterminded Paul Pogba’s record-breaking Old Trafford return but he believes fees could rise even further in the near future.

Renowned super-agent Mino Raiola believes the first £200 million transfer fee could be paid within the next two or three years.
The 47-year-old was central to this summer’s transfer window, engineering Manchester United’s triple swoop for Zlatan Ibrahimovic, Henrikh Mkhitaryan and Paul Pogba.
According to AS, Raiola pocketed a combined £29 million from the deals, including £20 million from the agreement that made Pogba the most expensive player in the history of the game.

And the outspoken Dutchman, who was also behind Romelu Lukaku’s proposed return to Chelsea and Blaise Matuidi’s unsuccessful switch to Juventus, believes the first £200 million player is only a few years away.
“For sure [someone will move for £200 million] with how the economic is evolving, especially in the Premier League,” Raiola said in an exclusive interview with Jim White, broadcast at 12pm on Talksport.
“It will be within 2 or 3 years, probably a Brazilian, a wonder-child like the new Neymar or Messi. It can be an Englishman also.

“There is an industry going on now. It’s not now the club of your city playing games of football, it’s a game with money inside it and economic interests and players have become artists on the stage.”
Raiola (below) defended his conduct during Pogba’s protected return to Old Trafford, saying his forceful behaviour was only for the benefit of his client.

“Pogba was a complicated deal because it involves a lot of parties and complicated rights. But I always try to do what the player wishes. I shield my players and shield their interests.
“I should be proud of that. I have a reputation about never talking about contents of deals, its private for the club and the player. I am a service provider, you don’t go on air and say what the settlement is between you and your wife.”
