Lukaku has scored nine goals in 17 games for Everton this season.
The agent of Everton’s Romelu Lukaku has told Talksport the striker has all but agreed a new contract at Goodison Park.
The Liverpool Echo reported this week that Lukaku was nearing a deal that would see him become the Toffees’ highest-paid player in history on more than £100,000 a week.
Mino Raiola – who represents the Belgian along with several other high-profile stars – has since confirmed that negotiations are set to reach a positive conclusion, however, the Dutch super-agent has also kept open the door to a move for his client as early as the summer transfer window.
“With Everton I’d say we’ve 90 per cent, maybe 99.9 per cent reached terms,” Raiola told Wednesday’s Jim White Show. “And if Romelu is good enough and strong enough to move on in the next years we’ll talk to Everton about it. It’s a very good relationship at the moment.”

He added: “In football you can not look so much in front. You have to take it, let’s say, a transfer window at a time. For now we have agreed terms and we’ll see in the summer what happens and how the situation is.
“If there is interest from both parties to move on we’ll talk with the club, but at this point we only have one objective and that is to perform as well as possible at Everton.”
As Raiola also pointed out, Everton are very much a club in transition, and with Lukaku scoring at a rate of slightly more than one-in-two this season it is perhaps only a matter of time before an elite club prises him away from Goodison Park.

The Daily Mail reports the 23-year-old saw his wish to rejoin Chelsea blocked in the summer, while Manchester United, who employ fellow Raiola clients Paul Pogba and Zlatan Ibrahimovic, have been linked in recent months [Independent].
