Leeds fans have taken to Twitter to pile the praise on Pablo Hernandez, following his eye-catching cameo in the 5-2 demolition of Newcastle.
The Spaniard was handed eight minutes at the end of the game, but that was still enough time for the ex-Swansea maestro to make his mark.
As SofaScore shows, the 35-year-old managed to register two assists in his short cameo, while also impressing with a pass success rate of 92%.
Hernandez hasn’t played much football under Marcelo Bielsa this season, making just two Premier League starts and two appearances from the bench before last night’s win.
Despite his lack of game time, class is permanent as we saw against the Magpies.

Hernandez simply oozes quality, and while he might not have the legs anymore to start in Bielsa’s high-energy system, he is still hugely useful off the bench.
Being able to bring on a quality player like the £19,000-a-week playmaker, after the likes of Rodrigo have run the opposition ragged, should be a tactic going forward.

Bielsa should keep introducing the Spanish magician when the opposition become weary and tired, where Hernandez’s quality on the ball could help Leeds find gaps.
Let’s see how the Leeds fans on Twitter reacted to the veteran’s display…
