Min Woo Lee is widely considered to be among the best chippers in the sport. That reputation hasn’t come from nowhere.

He hasn’t picked up the nickname ‘Mr Chipinski’ by chance. In the past year, Min Woo has elevated his game significantly, capping it off with his first PGA Tour win at the Texas Children’s Houston Open in March.

Even though he can be inconsistent at times, his talent alone makes him a threat to compete any week. Lee recently reaffirmed his commitment to the PGA Tour, despite ongoing speculation linking him to LIV Golf. The decision is a welcome one for many in the sport, given how well-liked he is by fans and players alike.

He said: “This is into the grain. One thing about chipping into the grain, I think you need a lot of feel.”

“If I want to spice it up a bit and get a bit of extra feel, I put it in the back of my stance, move it a bit closer to myself and let it roll out.

“Then this is the hard bit where you want to play a higher shot but you’re into the grain so you want to catch the ball first.
