Liverpool striker Rhian Brewster started in midweek but didn’t quite score.

Rhian Brewster made his long awaited first competitive start for Liverpool on Wednesday night.
The teenager wanted to mark it with a goal but it didn’t quite happen for him in the win over MK Dons.
Liverpool teammate James Milner is backing him to succeed, describing the young striker as ‘ruthless’.
Milner told Goal: “Rhian [Brewster] is an out-and-out goalscorer, you know that he’ll score goals. He’s got that hunger and he’s learning from one of the best there is at the other side of the game, Bobby [Firmino].
“He might not be able to do the Cruyffs that Bobby can do but he is ruthless in front of goal, he’ll get plenty of goals.”

Brewster, 19, has a big reputation after finishing as top scorer for England at the under-17s World Cup.
Since then his career has been held up by injury, which sidelined him for over a year.
That is why Liverpool supporters should stay patient with him even if it does not click for him right away.
He might not possess the eye catching skill of Firmino, but as Milner points out, if Brewster gets chances, he will prove himself.
Liverpool’s draw against Arsenal in the next round could be both good or bad for Brewster.
On one hand it is just the stage he needs to really announce himself, but that depends if Jurgen Klopp lets him.
The Liverpool manager could choose to name a full strength side, leaving Brewster on the bench.
