Millwall striker Tom Bradshaw says he is desperate to score his first home goal for the club.

The former Barnsley frontman joined Millwall on a free transfer in the summer and he has scored three times for them this season.

All of these have come away from home, and ahead of Saturday’s fixture against Leeds United at The Den, Bradshaw has voiced his desire to give the home crowd reason to celebrate.

He told Millwall’s official club website: “For me personally, of course it would be great for me to open my account at The Den after three goals away from home. I can’t wait to score in front of the home fans.”

Millwall are anticipated a sell out crowd against promotion chasers Leeds and the team always give the Whites a tough contest, winning one and drawing the other of the last two fixtures at The Den against Leeds.

Leeds needed an 89th minute equaliser to claim a point last season.

Bradshaw scored Millwall’s goal this week in their 1-1 away draw at Luton, in which he played all 90 minutes for the first time since August.

His task is complicated by Neil Harris’ shock departure as manager. Bradshaw getting on the scoresheet will be even more greatly appreciated by the fans if he does.
