Ben Marshall made just four Championship appearances under Daniel Farke at Norwich City before being farmed out to Neil Harris’s Millwall.
Millwall manager Neil Harris has confirmed that he has no interest in signing Ben Marshall on a permanent basis from Norwich City this summer, speaking to the South London Press.
The 28-year-old winger spent the second half of the 2017/18 season on loan at the Den and he impressed as the Londoners finished just outside the Championship play-off places.
But Marshall has failed to produce a similar impact during a second spell at Millwall. He has made just 13 league starts under Harris this time around, his only goal coming in a dramatic 3-2 defeat away at Leeds United at the end of March.
And, speaking to the South London Press, Harris has made it clear that Marshall has already played his final game for Millwall.
“Ben Marshall won’t be here next season,” he said.
The former Wolves and Leicester City wideman will return to Norwich City then but it seems unlikely that he will soon be playing Premier League football under Daniel Farke.
The Canaries signed Marshall from Wolves back in June of last year but he made just four Championship appearances for the Anglian outfit before being farmed out to Millwall.
And Norwich will now be looking for better options in attack after securing the Championship title on Sunday.
