Millwall signed Bartosz Bialkowski on loan from Ipswich Town in the summer.

Millwall manager Neil Harris says the recent display from Bartosz Bialkowski at Blackburn Rovers was the reason why he was desperate to sign him from Ipswich Town this past summer, South London Press report.
“He’s a good goalkeeper, that’s why I was desperate to sign him all summer. He was a little bit too busy for my liking in the second half – but goalkeepers are paid to make saves and he made some good saves,” Harris explained.
Bialkowski joined Millwall on a season-long loan deal from Ipswich Town.
The Polish shot-stopper was seemingly keen to test himself at a higher level following Ipswich’s relegation to League One from the Championship last season.
He arrived at Millwall originally as a second option to Frank Fielding, but Fielding’s long-term injury sustained on the opening day of the season has given Bialkowski the chance to establish himself as the number one.
The 32-year-old has been in impressive form, helping the Lions keep clean sheets against Preston North End and Sheffield Wednesday while also picking up points at West Bromwich Albion and Middlesbrough.

Millwall have made a decent start to the season. Many tipped them to struggle following a poor campaign last year, but so far, Neil Harris’s side look like they have the quality to steer clear of relegation trouble.
Bialkowski will prove to be an astute addition, but his long-term future is still undecided as his Ipswich contract expires in 2021 and the Tractor boys will seek an immediate return to the Championship.
