Ibrox veteran Kenny Miller is set to return to Rangers squad against Partick Thistle.

Rangers manager Graeme Murty has confirmed that veteran striker Kenny Miller will return to the Light Blues’ squad ahead of Tuesday night’s clash against Partick Thistle – but where does he fit in?
The 38-year-old has overcome a ruptured hamstring and Murty has confirmed that the former Celtic striker will be in Rangers squad to take on Alan Archibald’s side at the Firhill Stadium.
But with Rangers already boasting top scorer Alfredo Morelos, in-form Josh Windass and new signing Jason Cummings on the bench, how will Murty incorporate Miller? Here are three ways in which Miller can feature:
Number 10 role

With Windass starring up front of late, Miller could be used in attacking midfield in order to give him the chance to roam. The former Scotland international’s energy must be conserved, and deploying him in this role will see him save his stamina.
He has shown in his creativity this season with four goals and four assists, and that ability to split a defence could bring the best out of Windass and Morelos.
Out wide

Although he does lack a bit of stamina, Miller is still largely quick compared to the rest of the Rangers squad and playing him in a playmaker role from the flanks would see him prove effective.
Daniel Candeias’ inconsistent form would see the 29-year-old drop to the bench to make way for Miller, who played regularly out wide under Mark Warburton. Perhaps not the best option, but he would have an affect.
Up front with Morelos

It is impossible to drop Morelos, whose 13 goals has even seen him become the subject of bids from the Chinese Super League. But partnering him with the Colombian would ease the pressure on 21-year-old Morelos.
The former HJK Helsinki forward’s pace and power would compliment Miller’s experience and precision, and together the duo could fire Rangers to three points against Partick.
