Troy Parrott may have gone another game without a goal for Millwall last night but fans were encouraged about what they are seeing from the Tottenham youngster.
The Tottenham loanee started Milwall’s 1-1 draw against London rivals Queens Park Rangers in the Championship, with his manager Gary Rowett bringing him off with 15 minutes left on the clock.
Parrott missed the start of the season for the Lions because the Spurs academy product was trying to recover from an ankle injury. That hasn’t allowed him to settle down in a comfortable manner.
During the six Championship matches he has played, Parrott is still searching for that goal, but that hasn’t stopped fans from being positive about what they are seeing from the highly-rated youngster.
It does seem as though, the more minutes Parrott gets under his belt, the more lively he is beginning to look in the final third.
At this moment in time, the Republic of Ireland international just needs that goal, so he can get the monkey off his back and take the rest of the Championship campaign full on.

Of course, at the age of 18, it doesn’t matter about Parrott hitting great numbers because this experience is all about him learning and taking on board the tough lessons he will learn in this gruelling and pretty unforgivable league.
Harry Kane was on-loan at a number of Championship clubs during his early days, including Millwall, so if there is inspiration the young Irishman needs then Tottenham’s thriving sharp-shooter is the man to look at.
Nonetheless, here is a selection of supporters reacting to Parrott’s performance for Millwall last night:
