Jedinak in action v Iraq
Aston Villa summer signing Mile Jedinak’s upcoming home debut could be in doubt after picking up an injury on international duty with Australia.
Jedinak was expected to feature against Nottingham Forest on Sunday in what would be his first appearance at home for Villa since making a move from Crystal Palace.

However, the Australian international picked up a knock whilst away with the Soccerroos and then missed their World Cup qualifier with the United Arab Emirates as a consequence.
Now the Birmingham Mail is reporting that he will be assessed at Bodymoor Heath this week to ascertain the severity of his injury with Villa manager Roberto Di Matteo hopeful he will be fit for the game with Forest this weekend.
Villa also face a nervous wait over the fitness of Jack Grealish, who picked up a knee injury with England under-21s.

Aaron Tshibola, Rudy Gestede and Aly Cissokho are also all doubts for the game.
Jedinak joined Villa in a deal reported by the Daily Mail to be worth in the region of £4 million last month.
He featured for Villa in their 3-1 defeat to Bristol City recently but has not yet played at Villa Park.
