Mile Jedinak responds when asked to name the Aston Villa youngster who’s impressed him the most

Aston Villa midfielder Mile Jedinak has been sidelined with injury for much of the campaign so far.

Mile Jedinak has told Aston Villa’s official website that he has been very impressed by all of the claret and blues’ prospects whenever they have been called up to play in the first-team.

Jedinak was asked which Villa youngster had caught his eye the most so far this season.

And although the Australian international avoided giving a name, he did suggest that the future is very bright at Villa Park.

“I don’t think it’s fair to say one which has impressed me the most,” Jedinak said.

“They’re having a fantastic start to the season, and it shows. They’re full of confidence and that sort of stuff is infectious. It resonates when they come and train with the first-team.”

Steve Bruce has been keen to utilise the young talent at his disposal so far this season, with many of Villa’s youngsters impressing.

Keinan Davis is beginning to establish himself as a first-team regular, after a series of great displays, and Andre Green and Calum O’Hare have also been handed chances this term.

Villa’s form has rapidly improved over recent weeks, with the Midlands side starting to climb up the Championship table now.

Bruce’s men are currently in seventh place in the standings, with their next match coming against Wolverhampton Wanderers on Saturday evening.
