It was under Pulis that Jedinak thrived for the Eagles back in 2014, with his commitment ensuring that he is still held in high regard despite leaving the club two years ago.
If Villa go up, they will need to bring in more naturally talented players, but they will need to build the core of the side around leaders such as Jedinak.
Firstly, however, they must beat Fulham.
