AC Milan chief Mirabelli’s strong comments on Wolves £34m interest in Andre Silva

AC Milan are not keen to sell amid Wolves interest.

AC Milan sporting director Massimiliano Mirabelli has says the club have no intention of selling Andre Silva this month.

Milan spent big to sign Silva in the summer, but he has struggled to match expectations and is yet to score in Serie A.

The Mirror reported this week that Championship leaders Wolves have had a bid rejected for the Portuguese striker worth £34 million.

Mirabelli says that despite Silva’s poor form, a departure is not on the club’s radar.

Pianeta Milan report his comments: “I know that André Silva is living a moment difficult, but he is an important player for us. There is feeling, affection and a great talent, we want you to stay with us. January market?

“He remains here absolutely, and will do it for many, many years.”

Mirabelli’s comments are unequivocal, Milan do not intend to sell Silva.

He was bought as an investment for the future and the club’s instability and poor form this season has not helped him.

Agent Jorge Mendes is pulling the strings and trying to find his client more playing time ahead of the World Cup.

Mendes may still have some luck if he tries to push Silva to Wolves on loan, but it looks highly difficult to convince Milan they should sell.
