The Croatian international says he is happy at Fiorentina.
Fiorentina midfielder Milan Badelj has declared himself bored of transfer speculation, after again being linked with Chelsea, Tottenham Hotspur and AC Milan this week.
The Daily Star reported this week that the Croatian international was ready to buy out the remainder of his contract in Florence in order to leave in January – with Chelsea, Spurs and Milan the teams most likely to benefit.

But Badelj, whose contract with Fiorentina expires in the summer of 2018, has insisted he is happy to remain at Fiorentina until his contract expires. He is quoted by Goal as having this to say about the continued links with an exit from the club:
“I feel bored talking about it. I understand the press want to speculate, they have a right to do that, but I find it funny that people talk about transfers so far away from the window.

“I still have one-and-a-half years left on my contract with Fiorentina – why wouldn’t I stay here until the end? I have no problem with that. The thing that bothers me most are the stories that say I’m unhappy in Florence, which is not true.”
Tottenham were first reported as interested in the Croatian back in January, as reported by the Daily Mail, as his agent reportedly had fallen out with the Fiorentina hierarchy over unpaid commission.

But it seems any differences he or his agent have with the Serie A club are now forgotten and the player is focused in bringing success to La Viola.
Tottenham and Chelsea will no doubt continue to be linked with plenty of faces as the transfer window looms. But Badelj looks like a rumour that can be put to bed nice and early.
