Miku has told Herald Scotland that Celtic can win against Barcelona in the Champions League this week.

The Scottish Premiership giants will take on Barcelona at Celtic Park in Group C on Wednesday evening.

The 31-year-old Rayo Vallecano striker, who played on loan for Celtic from Getafe during the 2012-13 season, believes that the Bhoys can stage a victory.

“It is very hard to predict but if Celtic can do everything in defence then I think at Celtic Park they can score one goal and win the game,” Miku told Herald Scotland. “Maybe particularly if [Moussa] Dembele is good.

“But the main thing is that everyone has to sacrifice, be willing to run and clear about what they are trying to do.”

Barcelona will head into the match against Celtic at Celtic Park on Wednesday evening as massive favourites.

Luis Enrique’s side have one of the best squads in Europe, and there are a number of world-class players on the books of the Spanish giants.

Playing at home will give some advantage to the Bhoys, and an early goal could boost Brendan Rodgers’s side’s chances.

Celtic have some of the best fans in the world, and an electric atmosphere will also help Rodgers’s team.

The Glasgow giants are at the foot of the Champions League Group C table with just two points from four matches, while Barcelona are at the top with nine points, two points clear of second-placed Manchester City.
