Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta has told the club’s official website that Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang is available to play against Aston Villa this weekend.
Aubameyang came on as a substitute for Arsenal in their Premier League game against Wolves away from home on Tuesday evening.
The 31-year-old striker had only just returned to training after missing action due to a family issue.
The Gabon international did not particularly look good during his time on the pitch against Wolves.
Arsenal manager Arteta has said that Aubameyang is available for the Premier League game against Villa at Villa Park on Saturday.
Arteta told Arsenal’s official website about Aubameyan: “Well he is available, he played a few minutes after 10 days of not doing much and hopefully in the next two days he feels good and he is available to contribute to the team.”

Good news for Arsenal fans
Aubameyang has not been in great form for Arsenal this season – he has scored just five goals in 18 Premier League games, according to WhoScored – but the 31-year-old remains one of the best strikers in the Premier League.
Villa are a very good team who are having a wonderful season, and Aubameyang being available to start is good news for Arteta and the Arsenal fans.
It is not easy for any player to make an instant impact after not training for a while and having personal issues, and Aubameyang should be cut some slack now.
